Your Body is talking to you….

….Are you listening?

Some cause, first.

People respond to others and their environment based on the trauma they have experienced in their life and childhood. Many people are stuck in a fight & flight lifestyle as a result of constant stress, abuse, rejection or abandonment trauma.

If trauma is suppressed, they may be vulnerable to the manipulation and influence of other people, they may have heard a doctor suggest that they need this or that, while the body is screaming ‘no’ at the same time. Depression is a very good example, is one really suffering from depression? Or is there a lack of people listening to the symptoms, objectively?
Listening is very UNDER RATED!

I know from my own experience that it is not always easy to understand what the body is trying to express. When I took a closer look my life and my body, I realise that my body tried its best to support me during stressful and hard times, and never just randomly failed me. People are very quick to say that ‘you are strong’ or ‘you can do this’ or ‘you’re going to be fine’, but in actual fact we all need to heal through the trauma before we can truly move forward in our lives.
Our unconscious mind will begin to reach out by any means possible, including nightmares, fatigue, mood swings, hormonal problems, just to name a few and anxiety levels will hit the roof and become so loud that they cannot be ignored.

This is particularly true for people who only address the symptoms and not find the cause and origin of the problem. Becoming aware of one’s problems and the reason why they are there at all is life-changing.

Being in control of your own life is a very powerful state of mind to be in. I love to tell my clients to get into the driving seat of the body, it is the only one they will have for this lifetime, and to take on the challenges, not just throw pain killers at it, or put a plaster on.

Abuse is a common denominator that all of us share. Would it not be amazing if anyone who has been abused, can talk about it freely and through it to heal and move forward in their life. I want to remind people how to listen to their body and to understand their trauma, to see any emotional and physical blocks. I want people to walk away from the daily mantra ‘I am a victim’ and start a journey back to healing. People are all designed and created perfect.

The contents of this article are intended as a conversational tool, be it with yourself or with someone else, to be used in order to resolve trauma. I am not ever going to tell people what to do or what to believe I am sharing what I think, from what I have learnt.

People go through different stages in their life. They create and Survive challenging circumstances to push them forward in life, until their biology finally meets their spirituality. When this happens, you become more in sync with everyone and everything. By the time you get ‘there’ everything you thought you wanted changed, and you begin to understand the difference between what will help you achieve your very best and what will not. What is the difference between knowing what you want vs what you order to reach your full potential.

Taking responsibility = Being Response-able


Here I want to mention that my interpretation is that whatever it was that caused you a setback, in one way or another you’re now having to take control or charge of something that is ‘within’ your power, to control how you choose to move forward every day from your past. It is every individual’s responsibility (response – able) to choose their actions wisely towards others and most importantly towards themselves.
We can not change the past…. but we can focus on this moment to choose a direction for a different outcome tomorrow. Life is all about choices.
